Did you know that during a baby’s first few months of life, parents can wake up every hour, or more, to care for their baby? This lack of sleep catches up in no time! It’s no wonder that new mothers often struggle at night.
Having a night doula working with your family can help maximize your sleep which will give you more energy for the following day!
An overnight visit looks something like this:
- Overview of the day’s events
- Preparing bottles (breast milk or formula) or
- Bringing baby to you for nursing session
- Caring for baby
- Bottle-feeding
- Folding laundry
- Sweeping
- Bottle-washing
- Early morning routine
Along with the night support, we will discuss any obstacles you face during the day and go over some strategies that fit best for your family.
Overnight services are available in the following areas: Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge.
