Infant Feeding Support

Are you breastfeeding, bottle-feeding or a combination of both?

However you feed your baby (or babies), we start off thinking it’s pretty straight forward. But sometimes situations arise and we may question what we’re doing. Where do you turn to for help?

At NCFD, we have over 10 years of infant feeding experience. We are continuously adding on to our knowledge through organizations such as Breastfeeding Resources Ontario, MicroBiome Courses and Doula Canada.

Here are some questions that parents may encounter:

Why does my baby nurse so often?

How much formula does my baby need?

How do we avoid overfeeding?

Is my baby getting enough breast milk?

There is a lot of misinformation about breastfeeding. I’m here to answer your questions and to help you with common concerns such as latching and positioning.

For those parents who are formula-feeding, whether full-time or as a supplementation, there can be some obstacles on your journey as well. Which formula is best, how to prepare it safely, how often to feed your baby, etc.

However you choose to feed your baby, I’m happy to offer you the informed support that you deserve. Call me today to schedule a session!

In-home support is available in: Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo and Cambridge. If you’re outside of these cities, virtual services are available.
